Build the inventory from the actual installation
Start with the rig, storage location, dates, responsible person or provider and work-order location. Record the approved method and the coach and component manual versions used. The form has separate rows for the freshwater tank and pump, water heater or hydronic system, low-point drains, interior faucets and toilet, exterior branches, filters, a fitted washer or ice maker, and added plumbing.
For each fitted component, enter the source page, storage action and date, then the restart requirement, check and status. Mark equipment not fitted as N/A; a missing instruction stays an open question.
Record what was changed, not just “winterized”
The continuation pages record products and materials actually used, unfinished work and the next action. The handover also covers the documented battery, charger, solar and other energy-source storage state, plus fuel, propane, ventilation, cover, tire instructions and facility rules.
Write down what was disconnected, drained, bypassed, removed or left active, with the source and evidence. The right action depends on the installation; the form does not choose a method or operating setting for you.
Keep a separate restart record
Document restored settings and components, filled or flushed conditions, the matching instructions and evidence. Include inspection dates, findings, unresolved items, the responsible person and planned review date. The last row records who reviewed the restart and where the record is kept.
Fictional example: the water-system record is complete but the installed washer has no saved storage instruction. Leave that component unresolved and obtain its exact instruction before signing off the handover. Do not infer that it was protected because other components were.
Before road travel
Use your vehicle-specific departure checklist after the restart review. Keep the handover with the maintenance history, and preserve unresolved limits for the person taking over the vehicle. A completed form records actual checks; it does not establish a safe setup when instructions or work remain unknown.
